Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, one of Nigeria’s top lenders and brands, is the best bank in Africa in 2019, according to Euromoney.

Euromoney, in its 50th annual publication, said the key to GTBank success was its digital drive and strategy in positioning itself at the center of banks’ innovation.

“GTBank’s commitment to leading the future of banking as well as its consistent long-term strategy led by a senior management team that abhors complacency and keeps the business in a constant state of innovation.”

GTBank also emerged the best bank in Nigeria for a ninth time in 2019, reflecting the bank’s strong management team that keeps its business in a state of re-invention and innovation.
