- Arik’s ‘Fly to Vote’ Promo Boosts Sales
Arik Air said its campaign ‘Fly to Vote’ promo boost sales as patronage surged ahead of the general elections.
Mr Adebanji Ola, the spokesperson of the airline, made this known in an interview on Friday in Lagos.
The airline had announced a flat fare of N16,000 ‘fly-to-vote’ after the postponement of the general elections last week.
“We have put this promotional fare in place to encourage voters’ participation,” he said.
“The procedure remains that they present their PVCs and the N16, 000 covers all our 17 domestic routes.”
“The patronage has been encouraging. People have been buying tickets to go back to their respective wards in order to participate in the elections,” he added.
