- Firms to Build DDoS Scrubbing Centre in Nigeria
21st Century Technologies Limited, an ICT powerhouse in Nigeria, says it is partnering Nexusguard to build the DDoS scrubbing centre in Nigeria and provide the DDoS mitigation service to enterprises and government customers in Africa.
According to a statement, 21st Century builds digital infrastructure including the most advanced global digital security point of present in Nigeria, tier-4 data centre, academy and software development centre to help customers, partners and government in Africa to deploy necessary innovation solutions to remain secure, competitive, lead and win in the era of digital transformation and engagement.

That transformation, known as Telco 5.0, he explained, would demand the methodology and mechanics to shift platforms, people and processes to provide optimal security.
He stated that Nexusguard would fulfil that need with its global scrubbing cloud, adding that paired with 21st Century Technologies’ local capacity, the companies would provide a seamless “global+local” scrubbing network that could detect and mitigate both international and local DDoS attacks simultaneously.
