- IMF, CBN, Others for FinTech Conference
Experts in the financial technology and payment system segments of the economy are set to converge to discuss the future of financial technology.
The second edition of National FinTech Conference will hold in Lagos on January 25 and 26, according to a statement by the organisers.
The statement noted that the FinTech conference followed the success of the first edition which was held in April 2017.
“The second National FinTech Conference promises to herald the contemporary thinking and discovery in financial technology and its dynamism as not fewer than 800 participants made up of individuals and corporate organisations of diverse professions from all continents engage to chart a clear path for speedy growth of FinTech in Nigeria and Africa,” it added.
The statement listed the participating institutions as: the International Monetary Fund, the Central Bank of Nigeria, Ecobank Nigeria, Infinitisys, Accion Venture Lab, MainOne Cable, Systemspecs, Softalliance, Courteville Business Solutions and f other corporate organisations.
