  • Power Firms Engage Consumers, Assure of Improved Services

Global power leaders, Cummins and Power Gas Nigeria, have assured customers and other stakeholders of efficient service delivery as they jointly hosted them in an appreciation event at the U.S. Consul General’s residence in Lagos.

The firms also used the occasion to address issues confronting the power sector in the country and resolved on cheap and reliable alternatives.

According to the firms, the gathering was to further reconnect with existing customers and other stakeholders especially leaders in the manufacturing sector. Among the issues tabled were power shortage as well as expected increments in electricity cost by Distribution Companies (DISCos).

General Manager of Cummins Power Generation Nigeria, Mr. Daniele Sechi, noted that since power accounted for almost 30-40% of the cost of manufacturing, it was pertinent to consider cheap options that would enable manufacturers to fix their power budget over a long period of time

For Cummins Energy Solutions, Sechi explained that it boasted of quality electricity supply which was quite robust and reliable.

“With over 200 engineers in Nigeria, our service allows for 24/7 operations to our customers as we provide the operation, maintenance and after-market support for all our branded gas plants in Nigeria,” he said.
