The General Manager, Bon Hotel Grand Tower, Abuja, Mr. Graham Barensche, has commended the President Muhammadu Buhari administration for providing an enabling environment for the tourism and hospitality sectors in the country.

Barensche made the commendation in a statement of congratulation to the President and Nigerians on the 57th Independence anniversary of the country.

According to him, Bon Hotels has seen a phenomenal growth since its inception in 2012.

Barensche added that in a bid to improve its services to customers, especially those in Abuja, the firm had enlisted the services of a world-class chef, Chris Lategen, to run the hotel’s in-house restaurant.

Apart from serving clients with his wide variety of foods, Lategen, with over 30 years’ experience in the food industry, will also offer young Nigerian chefs world standard culinary training, according to the statement.

Lategen said he was delighted to bring his expertise to the country for the benefit of Nigerians.

Expressing delight with the array of Nigerian foods that he had mastered since coming to the country, the chef said the nation remained the food variety capital of the continent due to the abundance of fresh food and vegetables.

He added he would continue to be in the forefront of efforts to ensure that Nigerians had the rights skills to drive the country’s tourism and hospitality sector towards improving the economy.
