- FG Appoints New Directors for AIB
The Federal Government has approved the appointment of two new directors for the Accident Investigation Bureau.
The new directors are Mr. Hashimu Wali for the engineering department and Capt. Dayyabu Danraka for operations.
The AIB said in a statement that the appointments were with immediate effect.
Before their appointments, Danraka was the General Manager, Operations, AIB, while Wali was an Aviation Safety Inspector with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
According to the AIB, the appointments followed the expiration of the tenures of the former Director of Engineering, Mr. Emmanuel Diala; and Director of Operations, Capt. Yusuf Lawal.
The Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, AIB, Mr. Akin Olateru, said the former directors brought their invaluable services to the bureau and wished them success in their future endeavours.
