Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has met with the management of Uber to discuss investment opportunities in the state.

The meeting which took place at the Government House in Benin City emphasised opportunities in the state as the governor embarked on an all-out campaign to industrialize the state and enhance job creation by attracting real investors to available opportunities.

Obaseki promised Uber management team that the state government will honour all contracts and agreements, protect genuine investors and provide an enabling platform for businesses to thrive.

The state has piqued the interest of both local and international companies on the back of Obaseki’s efforts to transform the state into an investment hub by opening up economic zones and meeting with investors to lure them to the state.
