Guinea Insurance Lists 3.207 Billion Additional Shares

Guinea Insurance Plc listed 3,206,838,021 additional ordinary shares of 50 kobo each on the NGX on Monday, September 28, 2026.

The additional shares resulted from the company’s rights issue of 5.295 billion ordinary shares offered at N1.10 per share on the basis of two new shares for every three existing shares held as of January 21, 2026.

Following the listing, Guinea Insurance’s issued and fully paid-up shares increased from 7.943 billion to 11.150 billion shares.

This represents an expansion of approximately 40.4 percent in the insurer’s outstanding shares.

Based on the 3.207 billion shares ultimately listed at the N1.10 rights issue price, the shares correspond to approximately N3.53 billion in subscription value.
