United Capital Relocates Lagos Business Address to UBA Headquarters at 57 Marina

United Capital Plc has announced the relocation of its business address to 57 Marina Road, Lagos Island, the same building that houses the headquarters of United Bank for Africa Plc.

The investment banking and financial services group disclosed the change in a regulatory notice dated September 28, 2026, notifying the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public of its new business location.

United Capital previously operated from the 3rd to 5th floors of Afriland Towers, 97/105 Broad Street, Lagos.

The company’s new address, 57 Marina, is UBA House and serves as the head office of United Bank for Africa. UBA’s official corporate information identifies its head office as 57 Marina, Lagos Island, Lagos.

United Capital did not disclose the reason for the relocation or provide details about the specific floors it will occupy at the new address.

The notice was signed by Leo Okafor, Company Secretary of United Capital Plc.

The relocation is notable given the historical relationship between United Capital and UBA. United Capital previously operated as UBA Capital, and historical UBA corporate records listed UBA Capital among the businesses operating from UBA House at 57 Marina.

United Capital subsequently emerged as a separately listed financial services group, with operations spanning investment banking, asset management, securities, trusteeship and other financial services.

The company did not indicate in its latest regulatory notice whether the relocation to UBA House reflects any new commercial arrangement between United Capital and UBA.

United Capital is listed on the Nigerian Exchange and is registered and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria.
