Oando Plc has announced that its Board of Directors has approved the company’s 2025 Audited Financial Statements, a significant step toward the publication of its delayed annual results.
In a corporate disclosure released on Friday, the energy company said the approved financial statements have been submitted to the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) for final regulatory review in line with statutory requirements.
The company stated that publication of the 2025 audited accounts is expected to occur on or before June 12, 2026, subject to receiving regulatory clearance from the FRCN.
Oando added that following the release of the audited results, it intends to publish its unaudited financial statements for the first quarter of 2026 on or before June 30, 2026.
The update comes after the company previously informed shareholders and the investing public of delays affecting the release of its audited financial statements.
Management said the latest development reflects progress in the financial reporting process and demonstrates its commitment to regulatory compliance and corporate governance standards.
The company reiterated its dedication to maintaining transparency, integrity in financial reporting and timely disclosure of material information in accordance with the listing requirements of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).
The anticipated publication of the 2025 audited results is expected to provide investors with updated insight into the group’s financial performance following a period of significant operational activity across its energy business.
Oando is listed on both the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and remains one of Nigeria’s largest indigenous energy companies.
The company thanked shareholders, regulators and other stakeholders for their patience and continued support while the regulatory review process is being completed.
Investors will now focus on the release of the audited financial statements and the subsequent first-quarter earnings report for indications of the group’s operational performance, profitability, production outlook and broader strategic direction in 2026.
