Nigeria International Trade Fair Returns October 31 – November 9 at Lagos Trade Fair Complex
The Nigeria International Trade Fair (NITF) will take place from October 31 to November 9, 2025, at the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, marking the return of Nigeria’s flagship national marketplace after a multi-year hiatus.
The 2025 edition will run under the theme “Trade, Technology and Transformation: Leveraging Digital Trade for Economic and Industrial Growth.”
Organised under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment through the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board, the fair restores its original name and mandate as Nigeria’s official trade platform and a West African gateway for cross-border commerce.
This year’s event is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors across 10 days, with participation from international delegations and sectors including textiles, agriculture, electronics, creative goods, industrial manufacturing, and emerging technology. Both SMEs and larger corporations will be represented, and the NITF Awards will return as part of the programme.
Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, described the revival of the national trade fair as a key step in strengthening commerce and driving industrial growth.
“Strengthening Nigeria’s commercial and industrial sector through trade and investment is vital to driving economic growth and transformation in an interconnected global economy. Reviving the national trade fair under its original banner is a practical step in this plan. Trade Fair Complex is back,” she said.
Barr. Safiya Ndanusa, Executive Director/CEO of the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board, said the 2025 edition would provide significant opportunities for businesses and investors across West Africa and other markets.
“This year’s fair will welcome multi-country delegations, sector leaders, and investors. For exhibitors and investors alike, this is where West Africa connects, scales, and signs the deals that matter,” she said.
