The Nigerian equities closed negative on Thursday as sustained sell pressures dragged the benchmark index lower.

The All-Share Index (ASI) declined by 0.87% to settle at 140,332.44 points, compared to 141,562.94 points recorded in the previous session.

Market capitalization closed at ₦88.78 trillion, while investors exchanged 573.75 million units of shares in 25,881 deals, valued at ₦12.88 billion.
