Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has announced plans to release its audited financial statements for the half-year ending June 30, 2025, on or before August 29, 2025.

This was disclosed in line with the company’s longstanding practice of auditing its interim results and is compliant with regulatory requirements set by the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).

In a statement signed by Chidi Okezie, Company Secretary, Stanbic IBTC confirmed that the Board of Directors opted to conduct an audit of its 2025 half-year financials.

The audited results will be submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for approval prior to market release.

“This is to notify NGX Regulation Limited (NGX RegCo) as well as our esteemed stakeholders that as with previous years, the Board of Directors has decided to audit the Half Year Financial Results of Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC,” the company stated.

The decision complies with Section 1.1.3 of the NGX Issuers’ Rulebook, which permits issuers auditing their quarterly accounts to file such results within 60 calendar days after the quarter ends.

As a result, the company’s closed period—which began on June 1, 2025—will remain in effect until 24 hours after the release of the audited financials. During the closed period, directors, insiders, and connected persons are restricted from trading in the company’s shares.

The announcement reinforces Stanbic IBTC’s commitment to transparency and timely disclosure, consistent with its position as one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions.

Stakeholders and the investing public can expect the official financial results before the August 29 deadline, subject to CBN approval. Enquiries related to the development may be directed to Chidi Okezie, Company Secretary, or Remilekun Ishola, Head, Investor Relations.
