Apply: Oyo State to Commence Recruitment of 791 Civil Servants on October 7
The workforce in Oyo State is set to receive a boost as the Governor Seyi Makinde’s government rolls out plans to recruit 791 new civil servants into the mainstream service.
This was made known by the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe, on Wednesday, during a press briefing in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Aderibigbe gave a detailed breakdown of the recruitment, which according to him, will comprise of 230 education officers and 561 other positions.
The chairman of the commission revealed that this recruitment, which will commence on October 7 to October 11, would represent the largest intake into the mainstream civil service in the past twenty years.
He advised interested candidates to visit the state’s job portal at www.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng to apply.
He noted that all university and polytechnic graduates must possess NYSC discharged certificates or exemption certificates.
While applicants into offices requiring a degree must be university graduates, Aderibigbe revealed that applicants into positions that require Higher National Diploma certificate must be polytechnic graduates with a minimum of lower credit.
The Chairman said, “Applicants into cadres requiring a degree must be university graduates with a minimum of second class honours division, while applicants into cadres that require Higher National Diploma certificate must be polytechnic graduates with a minimum of lower credit.
“All university and polytechnic graduates must possess NYSC discharged certificates or exemption certificates as at the time of the recruitment process.
“Equally, applicants into cadres requiring the Nigeria Certificate in Education must be graduates with a minimum of merit,” he said.
