Access Bank Customer Slumps, Dies Outside Access Bank Premises in Jalingo

Tragedy struck outside Access Bank’s premises in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, as an unidentified customer collapsed and passed away shortly after exiting the bank on Monday morning.

Witnesses reported that the man slumped around 11 a.m., moments after leaving the bank hall.

According to eyewitness accounts, the deceased was found with a transaction receipt indicating a withdrawal of N50,000.

Allegedly, he mentioned to a bank staff member that he urgently needed medical attention before collapsing.

Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, Usman Abdullahi, confirmed the incident, stating that upon receiving the report, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the scene to evacuate the deceased’s body.

The circumstances surrounding the sudden death remain unclear, prompting speculation and concern among locals. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the tragic incident.

Access Bank has expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and assured cooperation with authorities in the investigation.

The community mourns the loss of the individual, whose identity has yet to be disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
