Okonkwo explained the organisation’s broader vision, stating, “The expansion of flight services to Kano and Sokoto, with a further vision for Edo, Plateau, and Borno states is part of the strategic plans of the company to unite Nigerians and offer them more options for air travel.”

The airline is not only opening offices at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport and Sultan Abubakar International Airport but is also set to kick off inaugural flights between December 1 and December 2, 2023.

The expansion aligns with United Nigeria Airlines’ mission to provide Nigerians with safe and comfortable travel options, fostering connectivity between cities, families, and businesses.

Okonkwo affirmed the airline’s commitment, saying, “Ours is to make sure that Nigerians travel in safety and in comfort across cities where we have already taken our services.”

This move comes as part of the carrier’s ambitious plans to unite more Nigerian cities, bringing families and economic activities closer through an extensive air travel network.

United Nigeria Airlines aims to make air travel more accessible and convenient for Nigerians, with future plans to connect Edo, Plateau, and Borno states.
