N-Power Dismisses Fake Recruitment Reports, Highlights Ongoing Payment Resolutions
The All Progressives Congress (APC) administration’s N-Power initiative, part of the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs) since its inception in 2016, has debunked rumors of new recruitment.
While hailed as a significant legacy, the current Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, has suspended the program, citing various irregularities.
Addressing concerns, N-Power, through its official communication channels, cautioned against misinformation and emphasized that authentic updates on pending payments and portal-related issues would be disseminated through its official accounts.

The move aims to counter the spread of false news regarding the status of the program.
Previously, the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) announced the successful completion of the N-Power Batch C1 program and reassured participants that the federal government’s suspension in October was to investigate and address payment issues comprehensively.
Despite the federal government’s indefinite suspension of the N-Power scheme on October 7, reactions from social media users have varied. The government’s focus remains on resolving outstanding payment issues and ensuring the effectiveness of the program.
