President Bola Tinubu has extended a heartfelt call to all Nigerians to join hands in the collective effort to rebuild the nation.

His appeal comes in the wake of the recent Supreme Court ruling which unequivocally affirmed his victory in the February 25 Presidential election.

In response to the verdict delivered by the John Okoro-led Panel at the Supreme Court on the Presidential Election petitions, President Tinubu expressed his appreciation for the justice administered by the court, emphasizing that it was carried out impartially and with unwavering professionalism.

“The court has done justice to all issues put up for consideration in the petitions on the merits of the law, without fear or favour,” President Tinubu remarked.

He went on to acknowledge the profound impact of the court’s judgment on Nigeria’s electoral jurisprudence and constitutional democracy, emphasizing the indelible role played by the honourable justices who presided over the matter.

President Tinubu stated that the verdict puts to rest the contentious discourse surrounding the 2023 Presidential election and underscores his unwavering faith in the judiciary.

He expressed confidence in the Nigerian judiciary’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and delivering justice to all citizens.

“My faith in our nation’s judiciary has never been shaken, not even for a moment, because I know that our hallowed courts of law will not fail to administer justice to all Nigerians in all matters and at all times,” President Tinubu asserted.

Despite the pressure and attempts at intimidation by certain political actors, the judiciary’s unequivocal commitment to upholding the rule of law was once again reaffirmed.

This outcome validates the popular mandate bestowed upon the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) by Nigerians in the 2023 election, leading to President Tinubu’s leadership during a period of significant national reforms.

With deep gratitude and humility, President Tinubu accepted the judicial victory, pledging his intense sense of responsibility and commitment to addressing the pressing challenges facing the nation.

He vowed to serve all Nigerians, regardless of their political affiliations, tribes, or faiths, with honor and respect for diverse opinions.

“Our Renewed Hope agenda for a greater and prosperous Nigeria has further gained momentum, and I will continue to work tirelessly to meet the aspirations of our citizens,” President Tinubu declared.

He urged all Nigerians to unite and channel their collective energy toward building a stronger, more united, and prosperous nation, emphasizing that the strength of the nation’s diversity and its common citizenship should drive progress.

“In the days and months ahead, I trust that the spirit of patriotism will be elevated into supporting our administration to improve the living conditions of Nigerians,” President Tinubu said. “I am prepared to welcome the contributions of all Nigerians to foster and strengthen our collective progress.”

The Supreme Court’s ruling has not only solidified President Tinubu’s leadership but also presented a new opportunity for Nigeria to move forward, guided by unity, purpose, and the pursuit of a brighter future for all its citizens.
