Stanbic IBTC Strengthens Leadership Teams with New Board Appointments

In a move to bolster its leadership teams and drive continued growth and innovation in the financial services sector, Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a member of the Standard Bank Group and Nigeria’s leading end-to-end financial services provider, has announced several board appointments across the group.

Mrs. Ndidi Nwunel

One of the notable appointments is Mrs. Ndidi Nwuneli, who has joined Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Nwuneli, a highly accomplished businesswoman and social entrepreneur, brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of business development and sustainability. Her addition to the board will undoubtedly contribute valuable insights.

Mr. Yinka Sanni

Mr. Yinka Sanni has also joined the Holding Company’s board as a Non-Executive Director. Sanni’s wealth of experience in the financial services industry and his proven track record of leadership will play a crucial role in shaping Stanbic IBTC’s growth trajectory. Additionally, he will serve as a Non-Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Bank.

Mrs. Funeka Montjane

Mrs. Funeka Montjane, appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC, brings a rich expertise in banking and financial services across Africa and beyond. Her appointment will be instrumental in achieving the bank’s strategic objectives and ensuring its continued success.

Mr. Efe Omoduemuke

Stanbic IBTC Asset Management welcomed Mr. Efe Omoduemuke to its board as an Executive Director. With broad knowledge in investment management and risk management, Omoduemuke will play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of growth and development for the asset management business.

Mrs. Joyce Dimpka

Mrs. Joyce Dimpka, with her vast background in the financial services industry at senior management and board levels, was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Insurance Brokers. Her valuable insights and guidance will prove invaluable to the company’s operations.

Mrs. Temitope Popoola

Similarly, Mrs. Temitope Popoola, recent appointment as an Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Insurance Brokers Limited, brings a wealth of experience in Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Internal Audit, and Human Capital. Her expertise will be instrumental in delivering excellent service and innovative insurance solutions to clients.

Mr. Oladele Sotubo

Mr. Oladele Sotubo, an expert in capital markets, has been appointed as an Executive Director on the Board of Stanbic IBTC Capital Limited. His valuable insights will contribute to the growth and success of Stanbic IBTC Capital Limited.

Mrs. Titi Ogungbesan

Furthermore, Mrs. Titi Ogungbesan has been appointed as the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Ventures. With her demonstrated leadership skills and deep understanding of the Nigerian business landscape, Ogungbesan will lead the company in identifying and maximizing investment opportunities, driving growth, and expanding the company’s portfolio.
