AWS Launches Free Reskilling Program for Unemployed and Underemployed in Nigeria

In a bid to tackle unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched a free reskilling program for job seekers in the country.

The initiative aims to provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to compete in the digital job market.

Through the program, participants will have access to a range of free courses on cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and other relevant fields.

The program is open to anyone in Nigeria who is unemployed or underemployed and seeking to enhance their employability.

According to AWS, the reskilling program is part of its commitment to support the development of Nigeria’s technology ecosystem and empower its youth.

The company believes that by providing access to world-class training and resources, it can help to bridge the digital skills gap and enable more Nigerians to secure high-paying jobs in the technology industry.

The program has already received a positive response from job seekers across Nigeria, who have praised AWS for its efforts to empower them with the necessary skills to succeed in the digital economy.

With the unemployment rate in Nigeria currently standing at 33.3%, the reskilling program is expected to make a significant impact on the country’s labor market and contribute to its economic growth.
