Npower News: N-Build Beneficiaries Commence Training Nationwide
Beneficiaries of Npower Build have commenced training nationwide on Friday. A statement by NASIMS stated that beneficiaries will be trained in different skills which include automobile, electrical installation, plumbing, carpentry, baking, and tiling among others.
According to NASIMS, which is the management platform for all Federal Government social intervention programmes, Npower build is part of the Federal Government’s commitment to creating a home-grown skilled workforce with world-class training.
During the three months training, beneficiaries will be provided with all the tools they need to excel while also pocketing monthly stipends.
Investors King understands that Npower was established in 2016 to address the issues of youth unemployment and help increase social development.
The scheme was created as a component of the National Social Investment Program, to provide a structure forlarge-scalee and relevant work skills acquisition and development for the youth.
Since its establishment, millions of Nigerians have benefited from its numerous programmes which include N-Agro, N-Tech, N-teach, and N-Health among others.
However, despite the commencement of training, a number of beneficiaries are yet to be posted to any training centre. Many of such beneficiaries took to the social media platforms to showcase their displeasure.
“I am C2 N~Build but my dashboard shows Applicant, and not posted to any centre, pls what is my next step,” a beneficiary with the name Sheu Usama poster on his Twitter handle.
Meanwhile, Npower has called for calm as some beneficiaries have yet to receive their November and December stipends.
A post shared by NASIMS on the Twitter platform read, “Hello Batch C Stream 2 Beneficiaries. Please be informed that payments have commenced.
“The process is ongoing, and every eligible beneficiary would get paid. Kindly drop a comment here with your location and bank name if you have received it”.
Recall that several Batch C, Stream 2 beneficiaries reported to have been paid for the month of November and December.
