Giant tech company Google has revamped its Google Trends homepage, which now shows real-time trends, making it easy for users to explore what is trending around them and across the world.

Announcing the improved Google trends on its homepage, Google disclosed that it was inspired to do so after coming across different searches of users, hence the need to enable them to have access to a lot of resources it has to offer that would be very useful to them.

The company wrote on its page,  “In the Northern Hemisphere, spring is right around the corner. And this time of year, springs bring cleaning to mind, both for our homes and for the Google trends website. Across the United States, searches for vapor steam cleaners have nearly tripled in the past month, and searches for self-cleaning toilets are up more than 140% in the past week.

“And that love of spring cleaning isn’t limited to the home. Across most states in the U.S., more people search for yard-related spring-cleaning tips than anything inside the house. Inspired by all those searches, we’ve done a bit of sprucing up ourselves. Today we’re launching a new improved Google trends site, so it’s now easier to access the breadth of resources we have. You can now explore real-time trends right on the homepage”.

The improved google trends is updated every hour and are accompanied by links to relevant news articles, so users can get more info about any trending topic.

To help users better understand the latest happenings around them, the homepage highlights what is trending in their local country or region, and also sparks their curiosity by sharing trends from around the globe.

Investors King understands that with Google trends enabling users to find what is trending online, it can be a good source of inspiration for content creators to come up with real-time content ideas.

Also, with the fact that Google trends provide links to articles, these creators can get to see traffic from Google trends in their analytics.
