Twitter CEO Elon Musk in a recent tweet unveiled his pet “Floki”, a Shiba Inu dog, as the new CEO of the company.

Musk took to his handle where he posted a photo of his dog at Twitter’s headquarters.

Sitting on a chair with a table in front, wearing a black outfit with an inscription of “CEO” written on it. Floki was seen posing with documents and a laptop with its hands placed on the table. Musk wrote in a caption, “The New CEO of Twitter is amazing”.

In a subsequent tweet under the post, Musk wrote “so much better than the other guy”, which users believe he was throwing shade at the company’s former CEO Parag Agrawal that was sacked.

In another picture posted, Musk dog Floki was pictured sitting on a chair wearing a pair of glasses, putting on a tie with documents placed on the table. Musk wrote in the caption, “He is great with numbers”, he also posted a picture of his dog with a closer view which he wrote “and has style”.

The micro-blogging platform went into a frenzy following Musk’s antics of unveiling his dog as Twitter’s CEO, which was followed by different reactions from users.

A Twitter user @tinucherian wrote, “Basically you are saying that whoever you hire as the new Twitter CEO should be as loyal and obedient as a dog? Can’t wait to see who the new dog is, I mean the CEO of Twitter”.

Another user @AustinTsearle wrote, yes so much better than that guy who calls himself Elon! We would be getting a better platform if a dog ran Twitter”.

Since acquiring Twitter for $44 bn last year October, Musk immediately carried out a series of revamps which saw him fire the company’s former CEO Parag Agrawal, a move that many saw as surprising.

Investors King understands that Musk conducted a poll last year in December in which he asked users if he should step down as the head of Twitter. Following the final result of the poll with 57.5% of users voting yes, Musk revealed that he will resign as CEO as soon as he finds someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, he will just run the software & servers teams.
