Africa’s Big Brother Titans Begins Sunday

The new Big Brother Africa show, ‘Big Brother Titans‘ is set to come up on screen Sunday, January 15, 2023.

Investors King recalls that in September 2022, MultiChoice Group hinted its audience of the new show before the end of the BBNaija last season. 

The new African show will feature young people from Nigeria and South Africa who will be viewed in one house, making it a mixture of housemates from the African nations, Investors King understands.

BBNaija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will collaborate with BBMzansi host, Lawrence Maleka in manning the show for twelve weeks.

The winner of the Big Brother Titans show which will be determined by viewers’ votes across Africa will be given a grand prize of $100,000 cash.

The Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe noted that the new show will be filled with more entertainment and drama.

He stated that the Big Brother Titans show sponsored by Flutterwave, Bamboo and Lotto Star will explore both Nigerian and South-African acts through a variety of performances.

He said, “BBTitans is a special edition of the widely loved Big Brother show that will have Nigerians and South Africans in one house. We can only imagine that there will be an explosion of entertainment and intense drama, unlike anything viewers have ever seen before.

“Imagine Afrobeats and Amapiano, the food, and everything else we’ll see in this edition. It promises an abundance of Nigerian and South African swag, banter, romance, and everything else. We believe this will be the most exciting Big Brother the planet has ever seen, and we are excited for the show to begin.”

Ugbe urged viewers to vote massively through their MyDStv and MyGOtv Apps to keep their favourite housemates in the house.

The new Big Brother Titans show will be shown on GOtv, DStv and Showmax of the Multichoice Group.

The CEO further explained that each viewer’s subscription package will determine the number of votes they are entitled to.

“Big Brother Titans is set to premiere on Africa Magic channels, DStv channel 198 or GOtv channel 29 on January 15, 2023, starting with a launch show at 7 pm,” he stated.
