The local currency (abokiFx) opened at N745.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Tuesday, 27 December 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, after it closed at N745.00 per $1 on Monday, 26 December 2022. This represents a change of N0 from the previous day.

Meanwhile,  the Department of State Services (DSS) is presently on the lookout to pick up Godwin Emefile, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for investigation, according to an anonymous officer quoted by media.

The officer said, “We have different teams of at least two each monitoring those places. We don’t know if they have more people deployed to even more places, but we did not see any signal from the DG’s office to suggest his involvement at this point.”
