$100,000 For Grab as Big Brother Titan Premier on the 15th of January 2023

Multichoice Nigeria, the organiser of the much anticipated special ‘Big Brother Titans’ reality TV show, has disclosed that the reality show will premiere on 15 January 2023.

The CEO of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe stated that the new show will last for 72 days with viewers from 46 countries. 

Investors King understands that the new show will be a merger of Big Brother Naija and Big Brother Mzansi, the South African version of the show. Thereby, adding a new taste and efficacy to the show. 

The CEO said: “The ‘Big Brother Titans’ is a special edition of the widely loved Big Brother show. This special edition is a fusion of two TV phenomena— BBNaija and BB Mzansi”. 

“We are bringing housemates from two giant nations— Nigeria and South Africa, under one roof to give African entertainment audiences a show of intense drama like never before”.

“It promises an abundance of Nigerian and South African swag, banter, romance, and everything in between”.

Also speaking at a media event held at La Madison Place, Lekki, Lagos State was the executive head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice who stated that the winner would get a $100,000 cash prize. 

As it is in the previous country-based show, John Ugbe also said viewers’ votes would determine the winner and help keep their favourite housemates on the show.

The show is sponsored by Flutterwave, Bamboo, and Lotto Star and will be held in South Africa while popular BBNaija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu; and Mzansi host, Lawrence Maleka, will co-host this debut season.

Viewers can watch BBTitan on DSTV and GOTV channels. The show will also stream on Showmax in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland

Meanwhile, it could be recalled that the last edition of Big Brother Naija was won by Josephina Otabor ” Phyna”. 

She won the N100 million grand prize edging out Bryan, Bella, Adekunle, Chichi, and Daniella in the finale.
