Another black Friday where millions of Nigerians can get amazing offers on the Jumia platform is near.

Generous discounts of up to 80 percent are often placed on a variety of products which include smartphones, electronics, beverages, toys, home appliances, and kitchen utensils among others.

Investors King learnt that this year’s Jumia event will run from 4th to 30th November 2022. It is expected that the much-anticipated event will open with a “treasure hunt” where you can get a 99 percent discount on a handful of products.

For instance, an iPhone 13 could be sold for less than N17,000.

Although only one item will be available each day for the treasure hunt, the reward and the amazing experience nonetheless will worth the try.

According to a statement released by the largest e-commerce store in Africa, this year’s event will be open to both new and existing customers across the country.

The statement partly read, “if you’re looking for the best deals on your favorite products, you’ll find them during the Black Friday sales. Jumia will be offering massive discounts of up to 80% off on millions of products across most categories”.

As the count down to 4th of November begins, some of the lineup events apart from the treasure hunt include flash sale which has up to 70 percent discount, exclusive daily deals with up to 50 percent discount, and weekend deals where you get 10 percent off any product you buy from Friday to Sunday within the span of the Black Friday period.

Other sideline events for this year’s Black Friday include Jumia Black Friday Phone Offer, Black Friday Game Voucher, and Jumia Wheel of Fortune.

Meanwhile, Jumia has emerged as the 2022 winner of the Human Resources Best Practice in the e-commerce category.

The award was bestowed on Jumia for showcasing an outstanding HR practice in its organisation.

While commenting on the award, the company’s HR Director, Enitan Oyenuga stated that the award is a testimony to Jumia’s operation model and robust human development structure.

Enitan added that Jumia will continue to enhance its human resource practice as its employees are one of its greatest assets.
