ITEX Offers POS Agents Five Days Zero Transfer Fee For Downtime Experienced

ITEX, an innovative Nigerian fintech trusted payment company platform that provides secure and innovative Digital payment products and solutions, has announced a five days zero transaction fee for all its Point Of Sales (POS) agents.

The fintech firm made this gesture as a show of appreciation to its agents for the patience and trust they had demonstrated during the period of network downtime the firm had encountered last week.

According to the company, this represents part of the core value of the organization. ITEX explains that its value proposition revolves around providing enabling opportunities for small business owners to thrive regardless of the stifling economic challenges business enterprises are contending with.

Speaking on the recent development, Ernest Uduje, the Chief Executive Officer of Itex Integrated Services, tendered a sincere apology to all its POS agents for the downtime they experienced on the system. It also stated that the system has been fully restored.

As a way of minimizing the loss accrued throughout that period, he disclosed that the organization was giving out five days of free zero transfer charges to make up for what was lost.

In his words, “We as an organization tender our sincere apology to our critical stakeholders, particularly our PoS Agents, as we are fully aware of how the technical glitches, we encountered have impacted their business operations.

“On this premise, we have zero-rated the transaction fees for our agents to enable them to minimize the losses they encountered over the week.

“This is in line with our core principles which strive to support the growth and development of businesses across Nigeria”.

ITEX Integrated Services, commonly known as ITEX, has in the last 16 years established itself as a trusted provider of secure & innovative Digital Payment Products and Solutions, based on global cutting-edge technologies.
