Customers Win Brand New Car, Cash Prices In FirstBank’s Verve Card Campaign

As part of plans to reward customers for their continued usage of the Verve debit Card, FirstBank has continued its eight-week promo, with fifty million naira worth of prizes to be won.

Tagged the ‘Verve Card campaign’, the promo will end on Wednesday, 30 March 2022, with 2,601 customers winning various prizes.

There are 1,550 winners so far, as the bank just concluded week 5 of the promo. 500 people (100 customers weekly) won N10,000 cash for performing a minimum of 2 transactions weekly while 500 people (100 customers weekly) won N10,000 worth of airtime for also performing a minimum of 2 transactions weekly.

In addition, 500 people (100 customers weekly) won N20,000 cash for performing a minimum of 4 transactions with their Verve cards weekly while 50 customers won various household items worth N50,000 (Generator, table top refrigerator and Gas Cooker) items for performing minimum of 8 transactions in a month.

There are however 951 prizes left to be won over the next three weeks, including the grand prize for the promo, which is a brand new 2022 Suzuki S-Presso car which will be given to one customer for transacting 16 times during the period of the promo.

The bank, known to be Nigeria’s leading financial inclusion services provider, noted that other remaining prizes to be won over the next three weeks include: 10,000 cash which will be given to 300 customers, 10,000 worth of airtime to be given to 300 customers, 20,000 cash to be given to 300 customers, as well as various household items (Generator, table top refrigerator and Gas Cooker) to be won by 50 customers.

According to Chuma Ezirim, FirstBank’s Group Executive, e-Business & Retail Products, the promo is aimed at appreciating the bank’s Verve cardholders, while growing the card adoption and usage.

“We are happy with the ongoing verve debit card promo designed to appreciate customers for their continued usage and adoption of the card for various digitally-driven transactions. With the promo being instrumental to reinforcing the value placed by customers on its versatile capabilities, we encourage the continued usage of the verve card as it is a card offering that promotes safe, convenient and rewarding digital banking service to customers”, he said.

The Verve debit card is a Naira-denominated debit card that offers a convenient, fast, and secured payment for goods and services. It is accepted on all channels connected to the Verve International network where the Interswitch/ Verve logo is displayed; ATMs, POS and Web in Nigeria.
