Shiba Inu: Shiba Inu Community Burned 1.4 Billion SHIB in February 2022

The Shiba Inu community remained consistent with its SHIB burn project, sending a total of 1,480,346,835.24 SHIB to three dead wallets in 251 burned transactions in February 2022.

The community burned 168 million SHIB more in February compared to the SHIB burned in January. At the current Shiba Inu price of $0.00002529, the total value of Shiba Inu burned in February stood at $37,437.

Travis Johnson was at the top of the burning game with his Bricks Buster mobile game. The mobile game was the leading SHIB burner for the month, destroying 415,417,430 SHIB valued at $10,505 through its ad revenue on the 15th of February, 2022 representing over 25 percent of total Shiba Inu burned in the month.

Bigger Entertainment took the second position of Shib burner of the month, burned 240,000, 000 SHIB valued at $6,069. In the third position was a token named ‘ShibaBurn’ whose goal was “to decimate the supply of ERC-20 Shiba Inu” according to the website statement. ShibaBurn burned a total of 111,111,111,111 SHIB valued at $2,820.

In the last 24 hours SHIB burn rate is up by 239.26 percent with a total of 77,952,712 SHIB burned in the last 24 hours. At press time 410,303,451,172,133 SHIB has been burnt from the initial supply.

In other news, the Shiba Inu community awaits March 19, the day AMC Entertainment will accept SHIB as an online payment method for its customers. According to the CEO of AMC, Adam Aron, he said, “AMC will be the first BitPay client to accept Shiba Inu.”
