Npower News: FG Shortlists Batch C Stream 2 Beneficiaries For Biometric Verification

The Federal Government has announced the shortlisting of N-Power Batch C beneficiaries (stream 2).

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), in a statement, advised prospective applicants to login to their dashboard under the verification tab for confirmation and further directives on the first verification stage.

“This is to officially announced the commencement of next process of shortlisting N’Power Batch C2 and all prospective applicants are by this official update enjoined to login to their dashboard under Verification tab for confirmation and further directives on the first verification stage.

“Kindly proceed to any cyber cafe nearest to you and get your fingers captured successfully for the next stage. All other information are made available in your Nasims Profile. To that effect, keep observing your dashboard and email for directives on the next round”, the statement read.

According to the NASIMS, beneficiaries are also expected to fill in their Bank Verification Number (BVN) to verify the authenticity of their profile.

Investors King had earlier reported that about 200,000 exited Npower volunteers will be enrolled on a programme known as the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) while at least 30,000 Npower volunteers will be deployed for the Mass Agric programme, a component of the Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP), and other NPower volunteers will be given the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills and start new businesses under a micro-enterprise scheme.

The SANEF, in partnership with the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) will have 200,000 Npower graduates as its agents under the approved ‘SANEF licensed Super Agents’.

The N-Power Program, one of the Social Investment Programmes (SIP) of the Muhammadu Buhari administration is built to address the issue of youth unemployment and help increase social development.

The Program is designed to target Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35 “to acquire and develop life-long skills for becoming change makers in their communities.”

By deploying a force of 500,000 trained graduated in their communities, the N-Power Program is a community-sourced solution to the nation’s under-developed public services like education, healthcare, and civic engagement. These beneficiaries are employed for a period of two years, during which they are paid a stipend of N30,000.
