Julius Berger Diversifies Into Agro-Processing, to Commission Cashew Processing Factory in Q2 2022

Julius Berger, a Nigerian construction company, announced it has ventured into the Agro-processing industry to further expand its operations.

In a statement seen by Investors King, the company said it was entering the sector by commissioning a cashew processing plant located in Epe, Lagos State in the second quarter of the year.

Julius Berger prides its years of successful executions on well-founded technical expertise, innovation with a proven record of reliably delivering in the construction sector.

The company reiterated that its diversification initiative would enhance the firm success in the future and align with its core strategic objectives of the Nigerian government in stimulating growth from the non-oil sector.

The cashew processing company will mark the company’s first step into the agro-processing industry.

The statement reads, “Julius Berger’s success is well-founded on our leading technical expertise, innovation with a proven record of reliably delivering construction solutions to the highest standards and all these are being deployed to its agro-processing activities.

“Julius Berger is pleased to announce to the Market, with respect to its first Agro-processing activity, Cashew processing which shall form the cornerstone of Juliu·s Berger’s activities in the sector, that the pioneer cashew processing plant located in Epe, Lagos State would be commissioned in the Second Quarter of the financial year 2022.”
