The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) rebounded on Thursday following few days of bearish trends. Investors gained N65 billion as 201,839,577 shares worth N1.680 billion were exchanged in 3,274 deals during the trading hours, against 132,077,093 shares valued at N2.674 billion in 3,307 transactions recorded on Wednesday.
The market capitalisation of listed equities rose by N65 billion from N20.604 trillion achieved on Wednesday to N20.669 trillion on Thursday.
The NGX All-Share Index appreciated 0.32 percent from 39,545.67 index points on Wednesday to 39,670.29 index points on Thursday.
NAHCO led gainers with N0.27 or 10 percent to close at N2.97 per share. While Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc followed N0.17 or 10 percent to N1.87 percent. See the details below.
