NGX Extends Gains on Wednesday, Investors Gained N141 Billion
Investors at the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) gained N141 billion on Wednesday following a N318 billion gain recorded on Tuesday.
Investors traded 181,417,236 shares valued at N2.089 billion in 3,599 transactions during the trading hours of Wednesday, against 474,528,558 shares worth N3.982 billion that were exchanged in 4,161 transactions on Tuesday.
NGX All-Share index gained 0.69 percent from 39,176.62 index points recorded on Tuesday to 39,448.46 index points on Wednesday while the market capitalisation of listed equities gained N141 billion from N20.412 trillion on Tuesday to N20.553 trillion on Wednesday.
