Shares of NCR (Nigeria) Plc Gained 20.5 Percent Following H1, 2020 Financial Report

Price of NCR (Nigeria) shares gained 20.48 percent from N2.49 percent it traded on Friday before the company’s financial report was released on Monday to N3 a unit on Wednesday despite a 16.16 percent decline in profit after tax to N17.436 million in the first half of 2021.

NCR led gainers on Tuesday with N0.24 or 9.64 percent gain. The momentum was sustained on Wednesday with the company exceeding Tuesday’s gain with N0.27 or a 9.89 percent gain.

Investors traded 120,000.00 and 147,393.00 shares on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. An enormous jump from 900 and 299 shares transacted last week Wednesday and Friday.

NCR (Nigeria) Plc posted a 51.77 percent decline in revenue from N2.927 billion filed in the first half of 2020 to N1.412 billion in the first half of 2021.

The company outlook remained mixed given a series of factors stated in the link above.
