Red Star Express Declares 5 kobo Final Dividend, Bonus for Q1 2021

Red Star Express Plc, a world-leading courier and package delivery company in Nigeria, declared a final Dividend of 5 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary share payable to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on Friday, 3rd September 2021.

The courier and package firm also declared bonus of 1 new share for every 33 ordinary shares held as at the close of business on Friday, 3rd September 2021.

In a corporate action statement signed by Frances Ndidi Akpomuka, Company Secretary, Red Star Express Plc, the Register of Shareholders will be closed from Monday, 6th to Friday, 10th September 2021. Therefore, the qualification date is Friday, 3rd September 2021.

Qualified shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts will be paid their dividends electronically on Thursday, 23rd September 2021.

However, shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is available on their website: www.coronationregistrars.com, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
