Stanbic IBTC to Commence Closed Period Today, June 1, 2021

Stanbic IBTC Holdings, a leading financial institution, will commence a closed period today, June 1, 2021, according to the latest statement from the lender.

In the statement signed by Chidi Okezie, Company Secretary, Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc, the bank said the closed period will be in place until the Half Year Audited Financial Statements of the company are released.

The statement reads, “We would also like to note that in accordance with the above Rules as well as the Company’s Internal Personal Account Trading Policy, we have advised all embargoed individuals that they are prohibited from trading in the Company’s shares during the closed period.

“Pursuant to the above and in accordance with the provisions of Section 19.2(b) of The NGX Rule Book relating to Board Meetings and General Meetings of Issuers, a meeting of the Company’s Board of Directors is scheduled to hold on Friday 30 July 2021 at 10:00 am. The meeting will, amongst other items, discuss the Company’s Audited Financial Statements for the Half Year ending 30 June 2021 as well as a proposed Dividend.”
