Omoyele Sowore Shot by a Female Police Officer in Abuja
A female police officer has reportedly shot Omoyele Sowore, the founder of Sahara Reporters, in Abuja, according to a tweet put out by Human Rights Lawyer, Inibehe Effiong.
Effiong, through his Twitter, wrote, “the criminal officer is said to be an ACP. I watched Sowore being shot live on Facebook”.
“This is what Nigeria has been turned into under Buhari. They’ve declared war on the Civic Space.”
The former presidential aspirant was reportedly shot at the Unity Fountain in Abuja and sustained gunshot injuries.
He is presently receiving treatment at an undisclosed medical hospital.
