GTBank Announces N2.70k Final Dividend for 2020

Guaranty Trust Bank has declared N2.70k final dividend per ordinary share of 50 kobo for the financial year ended December 31, 2020 following a strong profit after tax of N201.439 billion.

This is in additional to the 30k interim dividend previously announced, bringing the total dividend for the 2020 financial year to N3.00.

The amount will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of members as at the close of business on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

On closure of register, the bank said register of shareholders will be closed on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members as at Wednesday, March 31, 2021, who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.

However, shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Form, which is available on the Registrar’s website: www.datamaxregistrars.com, and also on the Bank’s website: www.gtbank.com, complete and submit to the Regsitrar at the address stated below or the nearest Guaranty Trust Bank plc branch.
