Japaul Gold, Vitafoam, Others Lead Stock Decline on Wednesday

The bearish trend on the Nigerian Stock Exchange continues on Wednesday as stocks of Beta Glass, Japaul Gold, Vitafoam and others closed in the red.

During the trading hours of the day, investors traded 244.202 million shares estimated at N2.654 trillion in 4.083 deals.

The market value of listed equities closed at N21.169 trillion, representing over N1 trillion decline from N22.187 trillion it closed on January Friday 29, 2021.

While NSE All-Share Index depreciated slightly by 0.07 percent to 40,465.32 index points.

In terms of volume traded, FBNH led the most traded stocks with 52,314,949 stocks valued at N381,498,896.70. Followed by Transcorp’s 24,806,051 shares worth N23,818,869.74. See the details below.
