Board of Zenith Bank Approves Dividend and Audited Financial Statements for 2020

The board of Zenith Bank Plc on Thursday considered and approved the Group Audited Consolidated and Separate Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2020 and the payment of a final dividend to investors.

The leading financial institution disclosed in a statement signed by Michael Osilama Otu, Company Secretary and General Counsel, Zenith Bank and released through the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

In the statement, Zenith Bank said “Please be informed that the Board of Directors of Zenith Bank Plc at its meeting of Thursday, January 28, 2021, considered and approved the Audited Consolidated & Separate Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2020 and the payment of a final dividend, subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

“The Nigerian Stock Exchange and the investing public would be notified upon receipt of the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) of the Group Audited Consolidated & Separate Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2020.”

The price of shares of Zenith Bank Plc rose by 3.03 percent after the announcement was made on Thursday to close at N27.2 per share.
