Stock Investors Trade Champion, UBA, Dangote Sugar the Most on Thursday

The Nigerian Stock Exchange gained 0.31 percent as investors traded Champion, United Bank for Africa, Dangote Sugar, Fidelity Bank and Access bank equities the most during the trading hours of Thursday.

The NSE All-share Index gained 0.31 percent to 40,590.85 index points, while market capitalisation of listed equities rose to N21.224 trillion.

On Thursday, investors traded 2.133 million shares valued at N7.509 billion in 4,558 transactions.

Seplat led the top gainers’ chart with N41 or 10 percent gain from N410 to settle at N451 per share.

This was followed by Nigerian Breweries with N2 or 3.57 percent gain to close at N58 per share, up from N56. See the details below.
