Dangote Cement Led The Bulls as Nigerian Stock Market Closed in the Green

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index rose by 1.68 percent to close at 34,818.01 index points compared to 34,242.83 it closed on Tuesday.

The trading hours ended with a total volume of 661 million shares valued at N8.298 billion in 7,324 deals.

While the market capitalization grew by N300 billion to close at N18.193 trillion from N17.893 trillion it settled on Tuesday.

Dangote Cement, Nigeria Breweries, others led the bull to close the stock market in the green.

Despite the 1.68 percent gains on the stock exchange, Stanbic IBTc, Ardova, Unity Bank, others closed in the red.

Transcorp took the reins as the most traded stock, trading over 160 million shares valued at N172 million. This was followed by Guaranty Trust Bank with 70 million shares valued at N2.620 billion.
