Bitcoin to Naira exchange rate has risen by 55 percent in the last one month following the recent surge in the price of cryptocurrency most dominant coin, Bitcoin.
The price of bitcoin rose from N4,500,000 about a month ago to N7,136,573 or $15,386.15 per coin on Saturday.
The price of digital asset rose over 50 percent in the last two weeks as cryptocurrency traders and investors projected that a Joe Biden win would lead to more capital inflow into the cryptocurrency space and eventual spring up the expected effect of May 2020 bitcoin halving after sworn-in in January.
Still, analysts doubt it would be that easy given that the Republicans control the upper house while the Democrats are the largest in the lower house.
Some experts are now predicting that Bitcoin price could rise above $20,000 in the first quarter shortly after Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States of American, have been sworn-in on January 20, 2020.
