N Power News on Fresh Verification for Payment

The Federal Government has directed all unpaid Npower beneficiaries of Batches A and B to undergo fresh verification for payment.

Npower unpaid beneficiaries are directed to approach their state focal persons for verification and revalidation.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar-Farouq, stated.

Here is Npower’s latest news on unpaid stipends, Umar-Farouq said the verification and revalidation exercise would end on October 13, 2020. Therefore, all unpaid Npower beneficiaries of Batch A and Batch B are advised to approach their state focal persons between today Monday and Tuesday 13, October 2020.

  • Npower unpaid beneficiaries are advised to bring along the following for verification and revalidation:
  • Bank account details, including bank statements from March 2020 to date
  • NYSC Discharge Certificates
  • Birth certificates and other related screening documents.

She said, “Beneficiaries are hereby directed to report to their State Focal Persons immediately with their bank account details, including bank statements from March 2020 to date, NYSC Discharge Certificates, birth certificates and other related screening documents.”

Npower News on Permanency

The minister said Npower Beneficiaries of Batch A and B are presently exited from the program but the government is working on creating a permanent job opportunity for them in the ministries, agencies and in the private sector.

She said the Federal Government is presently engaging some private sector businesses on absorbing some of the exited beneficiaries while the government is also working similar programs to integrate some into government parastatals.
