Awuneba Ajumogobia Joins Airtel Africa’s Audit and Risk Committee

Awuneba Ajumogobia is Now Airtel Africa’s Remuneration Committee

Airtel Africa on Tuesday said it has appointed Awunebe Ajumogobia to the Audit and Risk Committee with immediate effect.

The telecommunications giant disclosed in a note to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Ajumogobia, who is an independent non-executive director of airtel, will now serve as a member of the Company’s Remuneration Committee.

It said, “Airtel Africa plc (“Airtel Africa”, or the “Company”), a leading provider of telecommunications and mobile money services, with a presence in 14 countries across Africa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Awuneba Ajumogobia, an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, to the Audit and Risk Committee with immediate effect.

“Awuneba will continue to serve as a member of the Company’s Remuneration Committee.”
