Rob Shuter Steps Down from Board of MTN Nigeria

The Chief Executive Director, MTN Nigeria, Mr. Rob Shuter has resigned from the board of the telecommunications giant.

The MTN Nigeria Communications disclosed on Wednesday in a statement signed by Uto Ukpanah, Company Secretary, MTN Nigeria and published on the Nigerian Stock Exchange website.

MTN Nigeria said this is to inform the investing public and other stakeholders of the resignation of Mr. Rob Shuter from the board of MTN Nigeria with effect from September 1, 2020.

The statement reads, “Mr. Rob Shuter, who until his resignation served as President and Chief Executive Officer of MTN Group Limited, was appointed to the Board of MTN Nigeria on April 13, 2017.

The Board of MTN Nigeria would like to express its appreciation to Mr. Shutter for his exemplary leadership, focus and commitment to the success of the Company. The Board wishes him the best in his future endeavours.
