Insider Dealings: Abubakar Suleiman Buys 750,000 Sterling Bank Shares, Total Now 19,207,500 in Two Months

Sterling Bank Managing Director Abubakar Suleiman Buys 750,000 Shares in Sterling Bank

In line with the Nigerian Stock Exchange disclosure policy, Sterling Bank Plc has disclosed that Mr. Abubakar Suleiman, the Managing Director, Sterling Bank Plc, purchased another 750,000 shares of Sterling Bank.

In a statement signed by Temitayo Adegoke, Company Secretary, Sterling Bank, the lender said Mr. Suleiman acquired the shares at N1.32 per share on July 1st, 2020 in Lagos, Nigeria.

This is in addition to the 18,457,500 million shares of Sterling Bank acquired by Mr. Suleiman on July 16, 2020 at N1.24 a unit. Bringing his total purchase in the last two months to 19,207,500.

The purchase was done the same month four other directors of the bank purchased a combined 18,896,605 shares between July 13 and 16, 2020.

Therefore, directors of the bank have now purchased a total of 38,104,105 shares in the last two months, according to the documents on the Nigerian Stock Exchange website.
