Flour Mills Appoints Omoboyede Oyebolanle Olusanya as Director

Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc has appointed Mr. Omoboyede Oyebolanle Olusanya to the board of Directors.

In a statement sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the company said Mr. Olusanya resumed as one of the company’s directors on July 29, 2020. However, the announcement of the appointment was made on August 14, 2020.

Mr. Olusanya, who graduated from the University of Lagos and holds two masters from the University of Liverpool and University of Manchester, joined Flour Mills as the Chief Operating Officer in January 2020.

Speaking on the appointment, Mr. John Coumantaros, Chairman of the board, said, “We are most excited to welcome Mr Olusanya to our Board of Directors. He is a seasoned business leader, whose expertise and vast experience in areas such as Telecommunications, Financial Services, Energy and Manufacturing are mission-critical to our future operations and strategy and will help FMN further its purpose of ‘Feeding the Nation, everyday.

“Before joining FMN, Mr Olusanya had served in similar leadership positions including, Chief Business Transformation Officer at Dangote Group, where he spearheaded the transformation of the group. Between July 2017 and October 2018, he was the Managing Director/ CEO of Emerging Market Telecommunications Service (9Mobile). He also serves on the Board of Directors of Axxela, Starsight and OVH Energy.
